Moom Sakae
Moom Sakea which means Sakea Corner is located at the daily freshmarket in the corner by the Sakae Krang River. It’s a brand new place which jumped straight to the top of my list of favorite places to eat.
I tried almost everything on their menu. The only thing left to try is the beef/chicken BBQ. They don’t prepare it this season. Whenever it is available I will try it. I can honestly say everything is delicious! I especially love their Massaman Curry and the Chicken Biryani. It’s also the only place in Uthai Thani where you can have proper werstern food. Their burgers are delicious! The lasagna and spaghetti too. A little on the small side for foreigners, but so damn good. I shamelessly order 2 lasagnas sometimes.
I can go on about every dish, but the food is not the only thing that makes this place great. It’s also the atmosphere. The place is so nice and clean! And the location is pretty amazing! You can relax by the riverside and watch the fisherman around the floating houses and Wat Ubosatharam.
For those of you who appreciate a good coffee. Apparently they have one of the best coffees in Uthai Thani. I can’t say as I am not so much a coffee drinker. I’ll have to take my husband’s word for it. The upstairs airconditioned coffeeshop is cosy and clean.
In conclusion, Moom Sakae is definitely an asset to Uthai Thani! Especially for those who crave Western food.
