Bung Chawak Aquarium
Bung Chawak Aquarium is a famous aquarium in Suphan Buri. It’s situated in the Doem Bang Nang Buat district in Suphan Buri about 1 km from Bung Chawak Zoo.
In contrary to the zoo there were many visitors at the aquarium. At the main entrance there was a small fee. Of 30 baht.
To enter the aquarium you had to pay another entrance fee. There was a Thai and farang price. For adults 200 baht for foreigners and 150 baht for Thai. Long term expats get Thai price. Show your drivers license or work permit.
The aquarium is big, it’s extremely clean and there are many different kinds of beautiful fish.
The coolest part is the moving walkway. You can look around and go further at the same time without accidentally bumping into people.
If you find it a too large entrance fee, there are some zones surrounding Bung Chawak Aquarium, which don’t have a second entrance fee. There is a walk-through aquarium. It’s smaller, but it was also very pretty and clean.
At the right side of the entrance of Bung Chawak Aquarium there is a crocodile pond. You can walk over the bridge and take a look at the crocodiles. They also do shows at several times. The last show starts at 15h.
