Andreas Italian Restaurant & Grill Hua Hin

I’ve been to Andreas Italian Restaurant & Grill with my husband about a year ago, but I still remember quite well. We passed by the restaurant by coincidence. Back than there was only one or two reviews on tripadvisor about this restaurant. The restaurant looked inviting so we went for it.

Andreas greeted us when we entered. As it wasn’t that crowdy yet, we could sit where ever we wanted. We decided to sit on the rooftop. I like dining quiet. What stayed with me the most is the way the staff served us. For the first time I didn’t have the feeling I wasn’t in Thailand. Their service was to European standards.

There was not too much choice on the menu, which I love. My husband had a pizza with tomato, mascarpone cheese and parma ham. I had home made pasta with clarified butter, 36 months aged Parmesan cheese and shaved fresh white Alba truffle. The pasta was a bit expensive, but that happens if you order something with fresh truffle. Of course I ate a slice of my husband’s pizza. I’m a foodie, what do you expect? Both the pasta and the pizza were delicious!

Although I wasn’t hungry anymore, I had to try his desserts. I’m glad I did, because the desserts were up to the standards from the main courses. My husband and I ordered traditional Italian tiramisu flavored with amaretto and nougat parfait flavored with caramelized almonds and vanilla sauce. Especially the last one was extremely good!

If I’m ever in Hua Hin again, I’ll go back to Andreas.
