Kanchanaburi

banner-kanch Kanchanaburi is the largest of the western provinces of Thailand. It is the country’s third largest province.

The province is located in the west of Thailand 129 km from Bangkok.

The neighboring provinces are Tak, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi. In the west it borders Myanmar.

It is frequently attracts tourists who have interest for the history of its ancient civilization and the World War II Bridge over the River Khwae. The province is also famous for its natural attractions such as forests, mountains, caves and waterfalls.
