Uthai Thani prepares for Tak Bat Devo
Uthai Thani is preparing for Tak Bat Devo Festival or ตักบาตรเทโว in Thai which yearly takes place at the end of Lent and is the celebration of Buddha’s return from heaven to earth.
This year it will be at 27-28 October 2015. The streets in the whole city center got redone and there are banners and posters everywhere.
For those of us who can’t read the Thai scedule this is what it says :

| 10:30 | The procession of the Buddha statue the day in honor and to worship Buddha will start at the bus station and passes |
| the roundabout with the fountain. Every association that takes part will receive an honorary scale/plate on the stage | |
